Do we need to know Wave Refraction/Reflect on the MCAT?

Colloids? Wtf are these?

For closed pipes

we have the equation Wavelength = 4L/n where n = 1,3,5

when n= 3 is that the 2ND harmonic or the 3rd harmonic?
when n=5 is that the 5th haromnic or the 3rd harmonic?
My question is then, does n = the harmonic # or is it whether or not it is the 2nd possible value of n?
