Well, everyone knows how hard it is to make ends meet and to have enough money to actually be able to save, I have been looking into jobs that you can do at home while going to college. I came across some at home medical transcription jobs.

There are some medical transcription jobs that you can do at home, or anywhere there is a computer. There are some companies that will pay .07 per line. So if you do 5,000 lines a week minimum, you can make over 1,000 a month.

I'm actually going to do this for myself. This is some really good money to have to pay those bills and those unexpected costs that ALWAYS pop up, and to SAVE money.

If I were able to get one of these jobs, I have taken medical terminology, pharmacology, and many other medical related courses to go with my major classes, so I could keep one of these jobs for many years and have a nice second income.

Are you already trained/certified as a MT? I actually did extensive research on this myself. As mom I was trying to figure out the best way to make money, be home with toddler and go to school. From all of the MT's I've spoken to there are 3 schools that are the best. Don't quote me, but i think they are Andrews, M-Tech & Career Step? There's a whole MT community if you google MT forums and they are very helpful in figuring out the best way to go for your situation, which schools are good, which suck, what the lifestyle/work /pay is like. In the end I decided against it because the training is costly and too long and I needed something to pay the bills NOW (hence me working graveyard). Anyway, I hope it works out for you, good luck!:luck:

Hi! I'm not yet certified. I should only have a couple of courses to take. So I will get that done first and then try to get one of those at home jobs as a MT to make some extra money to go along with my career job and to help me make it through school. THis way I don't need to work 2 different jobs during the night shift and I can get more sleep. I have enough aid to not work for a few months and do one of these programs and still do my regular classes and still work one job.

I can get the online course done a lot faster then taking the classes at the local tech college. The cost will be less for the online course as well. Thank you for your help.
