Long story short, I've been planning my summer out and I have about a 5-6 week gap where I won't be shadowing full time. I'm looking for a way to use this time to make some extra money. Its not really enough time to get a job, but I also don't wanna sit on my ass all day for a month.

I was looking for a way to make some extra cash. The only thing I could think of was becoming a CPR instructor but I am really looking for more ideas. Please help!

Not all jobs are full-time permanent. Temp jobs and agency work are great fillers for short spans of time. Without special skills, you can still see $10/hr doing clerical/customer service work, or much more if you have particularly marketable skills. Sign up with temp agencies well in advance so that when your window of opportunity arises, all the details will have already been handled. Look for nursing/direct care temp agencies. They sometimes have well-paying semi-clinical work even for unlicensed personnel. I am currently working at a facility that provides care to intellectually challenged adults. They use a lot of agency staff for their direct care positions, in the $12-14/hr range. It isn't top pay, but for this area and for unskilled work, that isn't bad.
