Because I am not a Science major, I have only taken the basic Bio pre-reqs. I feel that my classes so far have not adequately prepared me for the MCAT. I will be taking Genetics over the Summer and Biochem in Fall.

What else can I do to prepare for the Bio section of MCAT?

I have already read the TPRH Bio section and planning to do the Berk. Review Bio section.

What do you guys think??

Take at least 1 human physiology class. Biochem is also good. I also haven't taken too much bio, but the physiology definitely helps. Also, maybe a patho-physiology course would be helpful too. The MCAT likes to throw in passages about random diseases not many people would know about yet as more of a reasoning passage (ie- you have to read to find the answer) but if you have a general background of the disease it can be really helpful to screen out "tempting" answers if you're crunched for time. This was just my experience. Other bio classes aside from the intros, genetics, biochem and the physio ones I listed would probably be too much info than is necessary.
