Websites for current events

I do try to keep up with CNN and various news sources, but I'm wondering if there are some good websites geared toward current events in the medical world. Oftentimes CNN strikes me as 'pop' news, that usually isn't terribly important, but is about some interesting subject aimed at the general populace, which makes sense of course.
Please post any medical websites you like to frequent

I get my news primarily from Twitter. I follow AP, the Washington Post, NY Times, BBC, and others, so if you have a Twitter that's one way you can go. Maybe check out Google News since it pulls stories from multiple sources and would give you a good selection.

The daily beast makes a "cheat sheet" every day that lists the 10 most important stories in about 10 different categories. I think the "innovation" list might be useful for you.
