Agreed. Genuine Interest is very important to most of the schools. I'd apply early (if you mean to try for next cycle).

Nice bounce back from junior to senior year. If they ask you about your grades you should bring up what you did to recover. You'll get interviews, submit that application as soon as you can. I have yet to read anywhere of full classes.
