Hey guys,

I have a quick question. I was rejected from Touro college over a month ago and just a few days ago I got an email from them saying they reviewed a few selected applicants and they would like to put me on their waitlist.

Has this ever happened to anyone? And why do you think they did that? Do schools normally do this? What do you think my chances are getting into this college?

I am happy that I got reviewed again! Fingers crossed 🙂

Touro NY or NV?

Touro is weird. A few years ago I was accepted, then was told I was not accepted (months after declining), and then another acceptance the year after (when I was a PT1). They need to get their **** together.

This is Touro NY. And wow I had no idea this was going on...

This is New York (Bayshore Campus). I think what I will do, is if i get an acceptance, I will call admissions and double check that my acceptance is set in stone. I am guessing that students are dropping out and so they are taking students off the wait list.

This happened to me back in 2014. They rejected me really early (September 2013) before I had completed re-taking a number of pre-reqs. I emailed them in January when I finished the courses and asked them to reconsider my application and they said no because the class was full. Then I got an email in late April telling me I was on the waitlist, which I got accepted off of in late August. Their administration is so strange and such a hot mess.
