I've talk to three people today who took the test and they all got the same test. I heard it was a tough in the reading section...

Im also taking mine the 30th. What do you mean by the same day? Today is friday and the 30th is wednesday. Lots of word problems sounds like a lot of fun.

Yeah, I too hope we don't get a lot of word problems. Tissy, how are you doing with Qr, good I hope? I took Topscore 3 qr last night & got a 17 & missed an 18 by 3 questions because I ran out of time. Most people are saying topscore qr is close to your score on the real thing, hopefully we can go up a few more points. I'm not far from you, I'm in the 17-18 range, so hopefully I can get that to a 19 or 20, but will take the 17-18 over a 15-16 anyday.

Best strategy for QR, do all quick and or easy questions first, then go back and do the others. You should be able to gauge how difficult each question is at a glance. If you don't know it right away, guess, mark, move on. Then you should have plenty of time and know you at least got all the easy ones!

That's what I do (did) and I got 24 & 22 on Topscore QR 1 & 2 respectively.

I've heard my version of the DAT talked about a lot over the last few weeks. I had the one where reading comp was about asteroids, NIDDM, and I forget the last one.

I remember that the first two reading sections were easy, but the third one kinda sucked. I also remember more algebra than trig on the QR

Never heard anything about it. But I employed the same strategy for Topscore QR 3 and I finished all questions except for 3 I did not know with 15-17 min to spare. Then I knew I had around 5 min per problem left. I still missed 2 out of the 3 but managed a score of 25.👍
