I got almost exactly what I could have predicted....24T.

Getting an 8 on VR killed me...I had been getting better that that in most practices...

Congrats...I'm not totally disappointed as I haven't had Bio or Physics in 10+ years...but verbal is pretty disappointing considering I had been getting a lot of 10+ scores in that section...but I knew I was in trouble because I ran short on time.

The WS score is just baffling to me. Didn't practice at all, but I've always been a decent BS'er when it comes to that kind of stuff.

Thanks for the congrats. But I'm pissed. I was an English major and I was basically tutoring my classmates in verbal all summer. I was getting 11-13s on all the AAMC practices...my sciences are consistent. I needed verbal to be at least 10-11. Freak....now I have to be beg the med school affiliated with my undergrad to let me in. I hope they still love me.

OH I just read the rest of your messsage...seems like we feel the same about our performances. You retaking?

I'm really hoping for KCUMB...or really any of the schools I applied to. I have quite a bit of other stuff going for me, so we'll see.

Hi twin..except 10BS and 8 PS. About 4 points lower than my average and 10 points lower than my highest. I think even my diagnostic was only 3 points lower. The saddest part? I'm actually a science specialist. I guess the moral of the story--not studying screws you over, big time.

Well, not quite the same, but I got a 28R.

I find it boggling that a lot of people with 35+ scores only have an M,N,O range writing samples. What's the deal???

Id trade it for a 32J any day of the week.

another T-er. surprised by it, too - it was the one thing i didn't care about and didn't really prepare for. subscores went down from my diags, but i guess i'll have to take what i've got.
i know people say the writing section doesn't matter, but given that we've rocked it, shouldn't that count for something? it was nice to see the 99th percentile (99%) on the THx site for at least one of my scores.

So essentially this thread is the opposite of my life...14V and L on the writing.
I would start a thread for people like me, except I'm fairly sure that it's just me, probably ever in the history of the MCAT only one person has been stupid enough to manage an L and a 14V simultaneously.

I got an L on WS too, WTF did I do to deserve it??? Was there some secret trick phrase I had to write? Because I'm pretty sure I did exactly as they asked, answering their 3 questions etc.

Weird. How in the world could you write T Essays and get such lower scores on the Verbal section? I'm still reeling because I got a Q (blech). And I thought my essays rocked!
Oh and I didn't do about 10 or more questions on my verbal section because I timed wrong and I got an 11. I was seriously expecting a 2.

I ran out of time on VR...happened to me on my last practice and on the real deal. Most of the time I was scoring better on VR...to be honest, I was kinda relieved to see it only dropped to an 8...when I walked out of there for lunch, I was sure I had scored lower than that.
