Everyone knows the only place that matters is Pacific Time. Why would the Mayans use Eastern Time?
 
I kinda figured it was supposed to end sometime during the middle of the day. Where did this emphasis on midnight come from?

I guess I assumed midnight because today is the "Last Day" meaning tomorrow won't happen, so it will start after the day is over...?
 
Technically if we account for the leap years and daylight savings time that we use but the mayans never did we could be almost a decade off of the REAL 2012! The LEGEND of the end of the world CONTINUES! (in the mind of the delusional).
