Were you accepted with 19AA 19TS?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
yup. I was. I got a 19 AA 20TS and I got accepted to the following schools:

1. University of Florida (my in-state school)
2. Boston University
3. Tufts University
4. Nova Southeastern University

No, I only had an 18 TS, 19 AA. Accepted to 4, declined 4 interviews. 3.56o/3.36s

I had a 19TS 20AA with a 3.5ish gpa. Got into:
1) NYU
2) BU
3) Nova
4) Marquette

Apply early!

Don't worry if you have average DAT. The rest of your application will account for it. However, if you are below average...then start worrying.

19 AA 19 TS 3.45 Science GPA 3.45 GPA
Accepted to UIC and Midwestern-IL
Declined interview at Tufts
Interviewed at SIU with no response

Also be worried about having a late application...the earlier your application, the better your chances of getting an interview.

My application was completed in mid-October. Although I have high stats, I think most of the schools have already filled up in terms of applicants and students for the upcoming year. Make sure you take into account the time your pre-health committee needs to write the committee LOR and also give it a few more weeks on top of that. My school changed advisers all of a sudden so the overall process was delayed about 2-3 weeks.

Thank you.

I rocked an 18AA/17 TS - 4 acceptances (Michigan, UDM, Marquette, MWU-IL). Still undergoing 2 continuing reviews (will decline). Only 1 rejection. Not an URM. You'll be fine!

Apply early. Make sure you read and research, research, RESEARCH your schools before applying. I think a huge mistake that people make is not understanding the requirements each school has. (Ex: Do they have a GPA or DAT cutoff? Do they accept CC credit? Which classes are required/not required? Whats the deadline for applying to this school? What is their in-state vs. out-of-state ratio?) Every school is different. Good luck.

Are any of you considered URM? What's the average AA TS for whites and Asians? I'm obviously asking because I am a non-URM with average stats.

Check the ADEA book, pretty sure that stats are there? If not, here is a reference from 2009, page 41.

I am considered URM because I'm Asian. Thus, I am "required" a better profile than RM to have a real chance at a school, especially public school. Since you are not URM, you should have a better chance than I had.
