Does anyone know of a good Western blot loading control that IS NOT between 40 to 55 KD???? Actin and GAPDH are to close to my bands.

How about BSA or non-reduced IgG? In any case, I'm not sure I understand why your loading control can't be between 40-55kDa. Can't you just use your loading control in an adjacent lane?

Pick a protein from any company that sells antibody that is considered to be house keeping molecules or abundant ones. Most of the ones I know falls in this range. I assume your target molecule is in the size range you mentioned above. If that is the case, you can use antibody with different isotype. Use mouse for one and rabbit for the other, or antibody from any 2 different animals will work.
