Hello all,

I have an interview coming up at COMP. I like the school and really want to get in. I have read various general forums/websites, watched numerous videos about interviewing for medical school, and did mock interviews (so I have covered all my resources as far as preparing for interviews go). But I wanted some feedback from students who have recently had an interview there or are current students.

Thanks

ok, what do you wanna know? seems like you've run the gambit on things to prepare. you really need to remember this: Be caaaaaaalm. there's nothing else you can do at this point. all you can do is just go to the interview with your most relaxed face on. it's a laid back interview and you'll probably get it done and out of the way first thing in the morning. be well rested and bring your A game. I wish you the best of luck! hopefully you'll get in and we'll be future classmates

Take a look at the interview questions for COMP on this website, should be all you need to know.

Where are the questions? I've been looking all over the site and I can't find them.

They'll ask you who U.S. Army Lt. Col. Lee Burnett is

Answer: DO, graduate of COMP, founder of SDN

Just kidding about the question, but fun fact if you don't have anything to say

Don't worry. It is a low stress interview. They want to get to know you, not challenge you or put you into unreasonable pressure. You will first have a 30 or so minute interview followed by 2 MMI scenarios in another building. I would definitely say that the interview feedback page covers nearly everything. Good news is you shouldn't expect every question there to be on your interview. I'd focus on those questions that have been posted over and over again.

Good luck. I hope to see you in the fall.

The acting MMI stations are some of the toughest stations in my experience and the ones where you really have to watch out because it's easier to put your foot in your mouth. Make sure you develop a framework for the MMIs. I used MMI for the Mind which I got on Amazon. It's a best seller in graduate school and medical school guides.
