Hey guys,

I was wondering if everyone thought there interview went well at western? I interviewed dec.8th and I thought I did well but then everyone else said the same thing...the wait is very annoying 😛
 
The wait is killing me!!! I hope they sent out the results before xmas. I hate things hanging in the air. I had the interview at 11 am. How about you guys? Did you guys get to talk to Daniel? I think he was awesome, helping me calm down and stuff. :luck:

Has Anyone heard from western yet about acceptance or not...I also interviewed on dec 8 and the wait is killing me lol
 
I was confused about what they were trying to tell us on the interview date. So Are they gonna try to send out most of the acceptance emails at the end of this week? But then they asked us to wait until the end of January to contact the office about our status?
 
I believe at the interview, they said that if all goes as planned, we should hear from them within 2-3 weeks. However, if they end up falling behind, then letters will be sent in January.

Is Western going to have their vacation starting next week? and they are not open until 1/7. So if we dont get any letters within this week we hav to wait till Jan then. *sigh*
 
does anyone know when is their next interview? i have not received any banweb letter nor a phone call...🙁
 
Ya I remember the guy asking for email and stuff he sound kind of rude when he said it too but they said its all by mail so hopefully we get some good news this week

I am from Los Angeles. Got email at about 2:30. 🙂

The email has two attachments, dated Dec 19th. So i guess decision was made today. 🙂 I didn't check the snail mail today, i don't expect it today.
 
Definitely check your emails. My acceptance was recieved this afternoon, the email has two documents attached to it. Good luck everyone!
 
hey everyone, i was gone all day but i just checked my mail and...I GOT IN! I'm so deliriously happy...i was crying hysterically! LOL. it was a roller coaster for me because I got one mail saying that i was accepted...then next said they had recall the acceptance letter...finally the third mail said I was accepted again. So this time, I opened the two attachments...and the first had someone else's name on it...the third email had my name in the letter. so hopefully, i got in...im still a little unsure. i think i would be devastated if it was a mistake. haha...

but good luck to everyone!

and happy holidays...just enjoy the holiday season with your family and friends. hopefully, santa will bring you some good news.
 
Congratulations to everyone who got in...Im sad i didnt get anything yet I hope they will continue emailing tomorrow as well...
 
congrats to all who got in. i must say i am very sad that i haven't been contacted for an interview or anything. i will keep hoping they contact me for one.

For those who got in can you please post your stats (cgpa sgpa major and the time they emailed) if you dont mind of course Im just curious and I hope they will send more tomorrow cause I really want to attend western thx

that's strange. Is that someone's else name my name? I hope they will continue emailing tomorrow. I am very nervous....I will be looking forward to refreshing my outlook email every 2 minutes starting at noontime :scared:

anyone got an interview and/or accepted to Western with a GPA of 3.0 or less?
 
for those who got accepted, what is the size of the attachment? I've had several people in the past who tried to email me with big attachements and had it bounced back so I never received them. I hope this is the case with Western. 😀😀😀

28K and 43K.

I couldn't even open the 43K for some weird reason. I could only use the preview option on Yahoo. I thought it was my computer, so i went to Kinkos, but i couldn't open it there either. Oh well, i can still read it, just without the official western logos, i suppose.

i just sent to my email a 5 mb attachment and it went through. Muwwahawawa. :meanie:

i was really surprised that i got accepted because my grades arent that high.

overall: 3.3
science: 2.8

extracurricular: 2 years work at cvs, volunteer at hospital, research, club and tutoring.

therefore, i think they don't base everything on gpa. they're probably looking for a well rounded student? iono.

oh yeah, im a reapplicant...i didnt get in anywhere...didnt even get an interview but i think a large part is due to my laziness...i applied super late 🙁 oh well...just glad i got in this year LOL

therefore, don't lose hope. even if you don't get in this year just keep on trying...i was kind of glad i got a year off because it helped me to appreciate how much i love school!

I seriously think you will get an interview (if you havent gotten one yet) and acceptance letter...because from what i read on sdn, you guys sound very supportive of each other and friendly--at least that's the type of classmates i would want to associate with 😀
 
Just wondering who interviewed you guys? I wonder if any of the people I interviewed got in!!! I had some ones I really liked so just wanted to check it out!🙂 Congrats to everyone!!
 
I was going to go to Las Vegas for this weekend now I am not in the mood at all. I have not received anything yet 🙁 I guess when you are a student even vacation does not mean anything hehe you always have to be worry 🙁 😕+pity+
 
Stay positive guys I haven't been accepted either but again it is a new day don't be depressed those who got accepted got their emails in the afternoon so we should just relax and check back later. Keep us updated if anyone gets in I'll do the same

Actually I don't remember exactly the name of the professor who interviewed me, but I know a P1 pharm student interviewed me, I think her name is...Corissa? Not 100% sure....😀... I was surprised they sent out acceptance emails this early...
 
hi. i'm new to this thing...
ne ways i just called admissions for western u and decided to post something since i'm sure everyone is anxious and are going crazy like i am (checking email every min 😎)

so they said all those who are accepted will pretty much hear from them via email by sometime tomo... everyone else (the alternate,hold,reject) will receive something by mail soon thereafter. so pretty much if you don't get email by tomo they're saying you're not accepted yet... (this is just my interpratation to what they were saying)

THanks alot Lbuddy for calling at least we know what to expect...we have one more day so lets hope its good news for some of us
