Westernu Secondary Application - Deficiency Explanation

I am working on my WesterNu secondary application - it asks:

"If there are any deficiencies in your application (academics, OAT score, optometric experience, etc.) that you would like the Admissions Committee to consider, please explain here"

I took organic chemistry twice and got a D...twice. Okay, I know thats really bad but I am taking it again and I did score a 340 in ochem on the OAT. Should I explain this in this section and in what manner?
