All i've gotten was the letter saying they needed my transcripts but I sent that stuff a while ago. Still waiting. They are supposedly coming to my school today for a professional school career fair, so I'll see if I can find out what's going on. I'll post it if I find something out.

I got the same thing, but they also sent me a letter saying my application was complete and that they would be getting a hold of me again within the next three weeks. It's been two weeks since I got that letter, so we'll see what happens.

Hi all. One of my friend applied there last year and according to him UDM is the best school in communication with student. they do all the communication throught Mail but they are very nice in letting you know what is going on. They start their process little late so by the time people hear from Detroit they already have few interviews.

Honestly, I think your friend was being sarcastic. And I'm not trying to be funny here. In my experience, Detroit Mercy was pretty dysfunctional in terms of communication. For example, I received an invitation in the mail for an open house 5 days after the event (& the letter said it was absolutely necessary I RSVP'd!). Also, two weeks after telephoning in to establish and confirm an interview date, I received a letter saying that my interview offer would be revoked if I didn't schedule an interview (& it ws dated after i called). 😱 😕 A similar thing happened 3 weeks after I turned down their offer of admission. I'm totally not joking here. I must've received at least a dozen (no exageration here) random letters from them that meant absolutely nothing, but looked important because they went to the trouble of putting my name and address on the cover letter. Honestly, I spent a lot of time looking through that shyte to make sure I wasn't missing anything important. I would say that Detroit Mercy was one of the worst schools in terms of communication - but I give them serious respect for all the effort. It's a lot better than I can say about Tufts, which treats its applicants like worthless turds. 👎
