lol not alot I was just wondering because I really want to go to a pharmacy school in the NYC area and if I don't get into one I'll just try the others. I live in TN, but lived in NYC when I was younger.

I'll be applying for the 2011 entering class next summer once I take the PCAT and finish the rest of my PRE-REQS

Does columbia university have a pharmacy schools??
i came across this a month ago... http://www.studentloannetwork.com/student-loans/new-york/columbia-university-school-of-pharmacy-sciences/00397300.php but, under its contact information, it says "CLOSED". so yeah...🙁

thooough, its faculty in pharmacology[graduate programs], is among the best in the country[#1 in 07']. just thought i'd mention it, since i'm looking at it 😛

And are any more pharmacy schools going to be opened in NYC?
aside from the schools mentioned previously... i only know of one that had just opened or atleast accepting applications. http://www.buffalonews.com/cityregion/buffaloerie/story/900081.html st. johns fisher, is also fairly new[06'], and the rest i believe are dinosaurs 😀

I think Columbia did have a pharm school at one point (or at least awarded the Pharm D) but that was a long time ago.

No, Columbia does not have a pharmacy school.

There are already 2 for sure I know of in NYC, Touro and LIU, I'm sure there's another one too.. How many do you need?

3 pharmacy schools in NYC:

LIU - Brooklyn

St. Johns - Queens

Touro - Manhattan

yea and st. johns I heard usually does not accept transfers, which sucks.

Thanks for the feedback everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!
