Hi all..
I'm starting medical school this year in the 1st med faculty in Prague and have my first aim in getting a residency in USA. I looked at some statistics of how much a resident earns in USA. Would that be enough for my life/tuition fees there ? Does anyone know of a site that informs about the tuition fees for residents?

Residents earn about $40 000 per year.. if i understood well😕

Residents don't pay any tuition in the US. Residents are paid about $42-45,000 per year to work on average 80 hours/week (that's what they say anyway....). In most cities this will definitely be enough to live somewhat comfortably on - most residents outside NY, LA, Chicago, maybe a few other large cities, are able to buy a small house and easily afford life's necessities and even save a little. In the aforementioned large cities one might have to be more creative with their finances, and most likely will be renting. Does that answer your question? Let me know if not.

Thank you for letting me know, it was helpful indeed.
I will need quite a big amount of money for the medical school in Prague and was thinking of applying in Scotalnd where fees are much less, so i could save up money needed for USA if there were any fees.

Thanks again
