Graduated with Finance degree and worked after college until pursuit of Dental School. Obtained a second degree in Biology rather than Post-Bach courses.

Overall GPA-2.56
Science(Bio) GPA-3.8

DAT scores bellow
BIO 22
GC 20
QR 19
Oc 23
RC 19
PAT 19

Assume EC's and LOR's are comparative to accepted applicants.

What are my chances of getting interviews and at what schools?

thanks

I think you should be in good shape, even tho your overall GPA will drag you down a bit. I assume you have few upper level biology courses or something else in your application that will make up for that low oGPA.

I think you're in decent shape... your overall GPA is low but some schools will notice your high sGPA and DAT and bring you in to interview.

Apply early.

Wow ... what happened during your first degree?

What are comparative ECs and LORs? I have asked this question before else where but have did have any success.
Also Im not sure about your chances (if I was sure about anyone's chance I wouldnt have asked the previous question) but good sGPA and average/good DAT. However like others mentioned, the oGPA....

All the requirements outside of grades and aptitude tests are adequate at worst. Meaning my EC's and LOR's are certainly not at a disadvantage.

is 3.8 only bio courses? if so, how many credit hours you have finished?
how about your BCP and overall sGPA? Those are more important. And be aware of that if you have repeated courses, your gpa's are going to drop even more. Your DAT is consistent(great) and above the natl avg. Hope you don't mind moving around the nation for your interviews and matriculation. Another hope the adcoms overlook your oGAP, so you don't get screened out automatically by numbers. GL!! and Destroy the interviews! Be yourself!!👍

Your EC's, LOR's and PS must be outstanding! Try to come up with something that can make you stand out among all the other great interviewees!
