I have a 3.6 overall, 3.35 bcp, and 3.2 science, but this last year i took 40credits and got a 3.81 gpa. I haven't taken the DAT yet but plan on taking it in the next month. I have around 220 hours of general volunteering, 50 hours of dental volunteering, about 100 hours of shadowing and 60 hours of assisting in an underserved clinic. I also got a new position that I start in soon volunteering at another underserved clinic and some other activities on the side, along with a leadership role in a pre-dental club. Im applying broadly to around 20 schools, do I have a shot at getting interviews or should I plan on entering a masters program?

Definitely don't need a master's. You'll want a good TS score on the DAT to show you understand the sciences well despite your kind-of-low sGPA. You should have a decent shot with a 20, and a really good shot with 22+. Put all the effort you possibly can into scoring well cause you'll be kicking yourself pretty soon if your DAT holds you back. Your GPA really is fine, but it's low enough to hold you back without a good DAT score next to it. 20 is a lot to apply to, I understand the better-safe-than-sorry aspect, I applied to 18, but in hindsight I probably would max out at 16 if that.

Do well on the DAT and you are good. I had same sgpa and got a 21 aa/ts and applied to 17 schools and had several interviews
