Medical What are my chances at DO after SMP?

Hi my current stats are MCAT 504 cGPA 3.32 sGPA 2.85, leadership roles, hospital volunteering, shadowing hours, undergrad research, and currently working as a research assistant at a hospital. I know my sGPA is brutal that is why I am looking at SMPs, I plan to go to one with an interview linkage but if I can raise my sGPA to the 3.1-3.2 range with the rest of my stats would you consider me competitive for DO programs?

Get at least a 3.5 in an SMP and then yes, DO is doable. Best to do one at a med school with some sort of linkage, is a year in length, and has the least tuition.
