Here is my situation....
I attended a private college my freshman Fall semester, but withdrew from all my courses due to an assault from my roommate on me. (I had to get an appeal because I was passed the drop date). I then transfered into another private college and decided to withdraw from half my classes as well I failed one course (an Ethics course). The second semester screw up was my fault, I was distracted by a girl. I then transfered to a local 4 year university and lived with my parents. For my first year there, I took a set courses in general biology, general chemistry and calculus, as well a set of non-science courses and received straight As. I made a mistake and moved out of my parent's house and in with my girlfriend the following summer. I started to get Bs and As. The second semester of my sophomore at the local university, I received 2 Cs in upper level biology courses, and withdrew from Organic Chemistry II. I sacrifice that semester for work. For the next two years, I didn't attend college for 1 semester, I withdrew an additional 7 course and failed one course, Organic Chemistry II. I did stick with a few course here and there and received As. I finally came to my senses and focused on my academics. For the next 3.5 years, I received straight As, with full credit load per semester.(averaged 17 credit hours for each Spring and Fall semesters and 9 credit hours for the Summers).
I graduated with a double major in Physics and Biology. My sGPA is 3.78, my aoGPA is 3.7, and my AMCAS total GPA is 3.75 for all universities attended.
I have roughly 45 credit hour withdrawn.(about 14-15 Ws)
I have 6 credit hour with Fs; one of them being a pre-req.
I have 7 credit hours with Cs.
It took me 9 years to get double major in Biology and Physics.
I've also accumulated 500 hours of hospital volunteer work and 48 hours of shadowing physicians.
My MCAT score is 38P.
Do I have any chances of getting into an Medical School?
If not, should I get a masters degree to improve my chances?
I wrote this quickly; sorry if this post is unintelligible!

I think that in here is a compelling story. Thus, I wouldn't fret too much, and I predict that you'll get plenty of interviews. Maybe if not at the Ivy's, still plenty of good schools will jump at you.
So quit fussing so much and start applying.

I think you've done a very nice job of turning things around and proving you're a new person with a good work ethic. A masters degree won't prove any more than what you've already achieved with 3.5 years of straight As.

Stats-wise, I am sure you'll get some interest. It will help if you write a compelling Personal Statement and essays and have excellent LORs. But I hope you have more ECs than some excellent clinical experience and average shadowing hours to keep the attention once you have it, so that adcomms will decide they want to meet you.

Thanks for the responses!
For about 4.5 years, I've work for supportive living as a personal assistant. I teach individuals, with certain disabilities (mostly mental), how to live an independent life. I typically work an average of 26 hours a week. Hopefully this can compensate for the lack in variety for my ECs.
