so i have shadowed both fields and interested in both i have a 3.75 gap and sgpa of 3.8 i have average EC's not many because i had to work all of undergrad, have some volunteering and research no publications. first time i took mcat i scored a 23 (last year) and ill be retaking in 2 weeks.

At this point I think you just need to figure out which field of medicine your interest lies more in, and what the benefits and downfalls of each are and how they relate to you. Either way this is a huge commitment and is what you will be doing the rest of your life, so you want to make sure you shadow both and picture which you can see yourself doing. Other then that your GPAs are good enough for both DO and POD, just kill the MCAT when you retake it here in a few weeks, that way you have nothing holding you back regardless of which direction you take. Good Luck!

Come back with your new MCAT score. Right now, you might be able to get into a podiatry school. Chances at DO are lower, based on stats. I have no idea what ECs a pod school wants to see, and I can't comment on what you already have done since you give so little details on timeframes and types of volunteering.
