Im new! Hi everyone! 😍

My life is completely up in the air due to this whole applying for pharmacy school business and whether or not I'll get into any of the schools i applied to.

I have a 3.7 overall GPA and a science/math GPA of about a 3.6 and only a 78% on the PCAT and no pharmacy related experience (retail experience not related to pharmacy tho, if that even makes a difference)

I applied to Wilkes University in PA, South University in GA, then Nova southeastern U and Palm Beach Atlantic U...

Does anyone have any thoughts on what my chances are of getting into any of those schools?

My stats (3.7, 83%) is similar to yours and I got accepted to South. When did you applied for South? The sooner you apply the better your chance is, since South does rolling admission and they only have 75 seats. I didn't apply to the other schools you mentioned so I don't know. Good luck to you.

I can't tell you much about Wilkes and South since I didn't apply to them, but PBA seemed pretty "easy" (if any school can be called that)to get into. Although, I'm not sure how much they look into PCAT scores, they seemed to outweigh my GPA (which is a 3.3-something cumulative on the PharmCAS scale). So you're good GPA might outweigh the lower PCAT score. If you haven't heard from any of those schools... your best bet at this point is probably PBA. I think it was a back-up for a lot of people, and as they find out they've gotten into other schools they will let them know they aren't going there, opening up more positions.

Unless you attend wilkes university right now as an pre-pharm undergrad your chances of getting in are very slim. They accept students from their undergrad first then if they have any seats open they look outside. I applied there and found out after their process.
You should have tries applying to schools that don't require PCAT and also i have heard same things about PBA as previous person.
I know somebody who got into PBA with around 50% composite PCAT and a GPA around 3.79 overall. So, keep the faith going and don't give up.

so far i was interviewed at south like a week ago and Im pretty sure it went well...thats before i got my new PCAT scores though my old one was a 63 🙁

eek and Wilkes is the one im hoping for because its the only one close to home 🙁 ...but i had those same feelings about that school being that they only require their own pre-pharm students to get a min 25% on the PCAT to stay in the program and they have a small school as it is

but hey Florida does have 80 degree weather and palm trees compared to the snow and mountains of PA haha
