What are my chances? Low MCAT but feel like EC's are competitive..

Your EC's only come into play once your MCAT and GPA make it through the minimums the schools set. There are very few EC's that will override those two things. Former Olympian or something really far out there (maybe an astronaut) might get someone to look past a 498 mcat, but outside of those 1 in a million EC's, you need high academic metrics.

Concur with the above. The core of your application is always going to be MCAT and GPA. This is because you need to demonstrate to admissions staff that you can handle rigorous coursework. ECs can give you a boost but very rarely can substantiate a successful application.

I'd suggest a retake and pending your new score considering applying to DO schools. Good luck.
