Hi everyone,

I had an unfortunate situation in my past where I received a bunch of F's due to medical problems at the time (they are gone now). I filed for a petition at my university to withdraw explaining my circumstances with medical documentation of course, they decided to deny my petition and now my GPA is basically 0. This really hit me hard as I'm passionate about pharmacy and this is what I want to do with my life.

Will I be wasting my time if I continue to take my prereqs/PCAT and get very good grades from this point on and try to explain my first years in an interview? Is there anything else I can do in addition to that to try and increase my chances like volunteering?

Thanks for your help

As Khal87 said, you should retake the classes you failed. Beside the effect it has on your GPA, there are many colleges of pharmacy that won't accept a grade below a C if it's a pre-requisite.
