currently in masters in molecular and cell bio

lots of EC, volunteering, research
great LoR

I did apply to 22 schools around the country-all private

with that GPA alone? without your new GPA added from master's I would say your chance is very small.
However, if you kick ass in Master's and get that added into your app, your chance is pretty high.
It all depends on how you perform in your master's.
I'm in the same boat as you. Currently in formal post-bacc

yeah i applied and will submit this terms grades in nov which raises my gpa if i get 4 to a 2.9 so im hopin it helps! n i have to give it a try while i do my masters n then try again next year if i need too
