Your stats are fantastic, as are your EC, so I don't see any issues. Here is my question though; how long ago did you attend your university? From your work, it seems like you've been out of school for awhile, and prerequisites can "expire" in the eyes of some schools. I'd need more information.

cshoet - I graduated with an initial BS in Aviation Management in 2007 and I've completed the pre-reqs over the past 2 years, I hope they haven't expired! 🙁 Isn't it 10 years, now I'm worried, 🙁. I'm currently 26....

No, you're fine! Just checking, you never know how old people are!

You should go ahead, buy a nice bottle of wine (I suggest a nice, full bodied Cabernet Sauvignon), and laugh as schools fight over you.

I'm jealous of you GPA and pilot job. Might I ask why you are switching careers (commercial pilot-->analyst-->dentist)? If not just to satisfy my curiosity, it'll definitely come up during interviews.

Good luck and congratulations.

The job of flying was great! The BS that comes along with your entire career resting in the hands of mediators, company mergers, and the harrowing cyclical nature of this crazy world economy makes it less appealing. My entire family is in the industry and I've seen my fair share of furloughs, lay-offs and crazy work hours (Parents never home for holidays). Once a hobby became a job it lost its taste, yet I still enjoy perusing around in a little airplane every once in a while. I want the opportunity to work for myself and eventually, be apart of a small partnership or run a small dental group practice of my own (a little more control). The analyst position was a Godsend! The flexibility is ridiculous and it was the perfect job to pay for my pre-reqs over the past couple of years 🙂. Do you think my stats are strong for Colorado, I'm really nervous....

I'm applying too, and the only thing I know is your are a stronger applicant than me, heh. I wouldn't worry about Colorado; your stats seem to meet and exceed their averages, and your residency helps in bounds. Just stay relaxed and optimistic.

Now I am convinced this applicant is in great shape! UPenn aside (since they are Ivy and picky etc.) I think you'll get in to most of those places. Good luck, though I feel you won't need it!

I'm concerned about my PAT score......... Is it too low?
