I just graduated in may with my degree in physiology. My overall GPA was a 3.48 and my science GPA is 3.35 (my major major GPA was a 3.7). Although my GPA is on the lower side, my last 2 years averaged above 3.75 (deans list). I was an undergraduate TA for 3 semesters and have over 300 hours of "hands on" dental assisting, and counting. I have 3 really good LOE from the dentist I work for and 2 professors. My DAT scores are:

BIO 24
OC 23
GC 19
QR 17 👎
RC 20
TS 21
AA 21
PAT 21

Any input would be great!!

Any idea of schools that I can competitively apply to? (Colorado resident)

Apply in-state and to the midwest/south. Clearly, the more schools you apply, the better.

This is a case of everything else (LORs, PS) needing to be top top top to help your chances.

Good luck

I think you have a decent chance. Your GPA is a little low but your DAT is is great and dental experience is a plus. Apply broadly and to a lot of schools. I think you have a good chance. Good luck!
