Hello, I just graduated from a top 40 university in the country, but am concerned because I only have a 3.3 GPA. I majored in Neuroscience and minored in Biology. I have not taken my MCATS yet but have been told by my advisors that I have a stellar resume. I traveled on a medical brigade in Africa, and held an internship in South America, additionally I shadowed, was involved in many clubs, one of which I was president of.. I did a lot of volunteering worked in a research lab at my school and am now doing a post-bac fellowship at the National Institutes of Health. I have stellar recommendations that I will be having. Each semester I took a minimum of 18 credits.... Also should mention both semesters senior year I had a 3.9GPA. My GPA is on an upwards trend. Assuming that I do average or better on my Mcats what are my chances? MD? Do? PA school.. what options do I have?
Thanks for any input greatly appreciated.

27+ mcat for DO and 35+ for MD..

GPA is probably too low except for the bottom-mostof the low tiers, like SLU and MCW. Your MCAT will really make or break you for any MD program. Despite your fine senior year, MD schools can afford to ignore applicants with your stats.

You're fine for any DO program, but again, do well on the MCAT.
