I am a FAP applicant, I'm trying to limit this to 14 schools. I know that may lower my chances, but financially, it's what I have to do.

What are my chances? Any advice?
Should I alter my list at all (there aren't 14 schools on it yet)?

Are you sure that you are applying for 2015 matriculation? I don't think that medical schools are beginning to process, much less accept, applications for 2015 matriculation. They are too busy handling 2014 matriculation.

He just means he is applying this upcoming year

Dude, how could you find that confusing? I'd recommend perusing through AAMC application info and old school-specific and sticky threads to be familiar with the process, since it's clear you're not sure how it works. Applying for 2015 matriculation = applying next cycle.

OP, I think you're fine for the most part.

I really didn't think I'd have to elaborate on this...

Stick with all PA schools, and some medium tiers, and you're fine. OOS public schools prefer the home team.

Yeah, I knew that, especially UNC. Are there any others I shouldn't bother with?
