What are my chances?

Getting more and more nervous as we are so close to the start of the application cycle... here are my stats:

UCLA Science major
overall gpa: 3.48
sgpa: 3.48 (has a C+ last quarter in dev bio)
DAT: AA21, TS19, Bio22, Genchem20, Ochem17, PAT20, RC21, Q21 (taking another exam this coming Monday)
80 hrs of shadowing
3 years of research + pending for publication
3 years of volunteering at senior buildings/non-profit (health-related)
1 year of volunteering at hospital
Currently working at a non-profit (teledentistry related)
Cal resident

Here's are the schools I'm considering: UCLA(reach), uop(legacy), ucsf, usc, michigan, case western, nyu, tufts, bu... more to add?

You look fine! With those stats you should get a few interviews, no problem. So long as your LORs are good and your essays are good.

will having a science publication in a journal be a smoother ticket to acceptance at UCLA? with 21,22,23 AA TS PAT and >3.8 GPA?

does dental school care that much about publication?
 
you'll be good bro. just make sure you apply by the first month (june) and I'm confident you'll get interviews.
