Hey guys so Ill be applying this summer for pharmacy school but my science gpa is a measly 2.55 and overall around 2.65 but my pcat is 91 and I have over 5 years pharmacy background as well as having my pharmacy tech license.....Ill also be submitting my pharmcas application around beginning of august (since I have one more class I want to add before submitting). My gpa sucks because of stupid mistakes I made in beginning of college. Other than that Iv been getting good grades and topping it with taking over 15 units online science classes every semester on top of my actual in class classes just to boost my gpa up. What are my chances and is it a good idea to wait until begining of august to turn in my apps since it already takes 4 weeks for pharmcas to verify and what not??
Thanks in advance

91 PCAT and 5 years experience is above most candidates
GPA is below most candidates
Since there are pretty much the 3 biggest factors in getting accepted, I'd think you for sure would at least get interviewed at most schools, unless you're planning on applying only to the best schools around.

Most of pharmacy schools in East coast required GPA 2.5 minimum such as Touro in NY. You should try to apply to south college in TN (3 years programs and just got accredited) since you have very high PCAT score. Good Luck

you can achieve anything if you just try your best!
