Hi all,
I just submitted my AMCAS application after receiving my MCAT scores last week or so.
Overall, I did well, but I really messed up my CARS section (even though I was averaging 127s and 128s on my CARS practice, leaving me super frustrated).
MCAT Score: 513 (90th percentile)
Chem/Phys: 130 (97th percentile)
CARS: 123 (37th percentile)
Bio/Biochem: 129 (92nd percentile)
Psych/Soc: 131 (99th percentile)
My GPA is 3.94. I have stellar ECs, LORs, and have been published (and waiting on a second publication).
I am really frustrated because if I could have just gotten my normal CARS score, I would be looking at some high-tier med schools. Now, with my CARS score, I am worried where I stand.
Let me know what you guys think. Not sure who else to talk to about this!
