My science and math gpa is a 3.1 and my regular gpa is a 3.435. I have many volunteer positions and work. I have not taken my mcat yet? What are my chances of getting into medical school?

Only a fellow Pre med but saw nobody answered so I’ll give ya my thoughts, with 500+ mcat you should be competitive for the newer DO schools. Sgpa a bit low cgpa ~ average

Average gpa for med school is usually somewhere in the range of 3.7. Focus on getting that gpa up then take your mcat when you're ready! Make sure your volunteering is something meaningful to you and you can paint a picture to med schools of how your volunteering and other experiences have influenced or helped your decision to pursue a career in medicine
