Hey everyone, I am a re-applicant and these are my stats after a DAT retake in August.
BIO: 25
GC: 22
OC: 19
RC: 21
QR: 23
AA: 22
TS:22
PAT: 22

My overall GPA is 3.70, science GPA is 3.45. Will my low Organic Chemistry score and science GPA hurt my application? I've got hundreds of volunteer hours and shadowing hours; I've also been dental assisting for over three years at a couple different practices. Thank you for your time in responding.

3.45 sGPA is not low
neither is a 19 OC
SDN makes those scores seem not as good because mostly people with high scores will admit what they got

Thank you for responding! My GPA increased from 3.6 to 3.7 in my last year of school, I got all As. I raised my DAT and perceptual from 20/16 to 22/22

I would be proud of that if I were you
apply wisely and you should be fine
make sure you write in your personal statement how you have changed since your previous application
oh wait, are you asking about your chances this cycle?
when was your app complete and which schools did you apply to?

Okay thank you so much. I completed my app 8/28 and got an interview invite to 1/3 schools on 9/28. I just wasn’t sure if my 19 OC or 3.45 sGPA would hurt me. I haven’t heard a thing from the other 2 schools, DCG and VCU

the thing that is likely hurting you is that you only applied to 3 schools
but I am sure you have your reasons for doing so..
