Your best bet will be, applying to more schoools and mostly private school.I'm telling you this from experience because just like you,I'm also an International student.I applied to one (public and out-of state school) with 3.8 overall GPA and 73 PCAT but did not get accepted.

But now,I've learned through this site and and some close friends to apply to more schools, apply early and to more private schools.

I graduated this spring, I'm retaking the PCAT this august and I applied early decision as well.

Hope this helps...............

God bless.

My advice is... Hey, your status says pre-dental. What gives? Your posting history shows nothing but dental messages. You said that you applied to pharmacy school last year, but you were intense on the dental thing, and now here you are on pharmacy again.

I don't mean to be rude, but it honestly doesn't seem like you care about pharmacy - you are just trying to get into any professional program you can. Lots of people here (myself included) switch or are undecided, but that's not the impression I get from you.

If I am wrong, I apologize.

That said, your stats are good, but most schools accept very few international students. As someone else said, you'll need to apply to a lot of schools to have a chance.

My intense is always dental school, but i did take the PCAT and apply last year. For this year, dental school is even more competitive, i believe i have a good chance of getting in dental school but i really cant afford another year, so Im applying to Pharm school also. Hopefully i will get in one of these. I know it might sound like im not really serious about anything but all im looking for is just a stable career.

you should stick with what you have the most interests in and be persistent about it. if you're applying to pharm school for the wrong reasons, the interviewers will see that you're bs-ing, so what's the point?
