okay here's the deal...i recently graduted this spring with a 3.01 overall and 3.00 science...got a 20 on the mcat , which i plan on retaking in january (hoping to score ATLEAST mid twenties). also, i just started shadowing a podiatrist. i'm applying to all nine schools.

1. is taking the mcat in january too late ? would it be better to submit my application with my current score?

2. what are my chances of getting an interview with my current stats?

3. when is the ideal time to apply?

I would say to apply now, but let them know that you have an MCAT pending...your other option is to also take the DAT because you get your score back the same day.

Apply now. Your GPA and MCAT are low, but you can probably get into some of the podiatry schools. If you apply now it may tell you if you need to take the MCAT in January.
