I am having hard time deciding whether or not to take the MCAT again. I know my score is a little low, but I am not sure whether or not my CV can compensate.
My credentials are:
MCAT: 28R (VR-8, BS-10, PS-10, writing- R)
GPA overall: 3.98
BCPM: 3.98
Over 100 hours of shadowing experience
Two years of research experience (presented research at a national conference)
Volunteer service
Extracurriculars: club sports, biological honor society, etc.
TA for chemistry and biology labs
Again, I know the MCAT score is a little low, but I am just curious regarding my chances because I worked so hard to raise my PS score to 10. I don't want to raise my VR score, but have my PS score decline in the process. I am not looking to go to Harvard level medical schools. So what are my chances in getting into a good, reputable allopathic medical school?
Thanks!
