hi sorry to post another what are my chance thread
I just really need to know

the main thing I am really concerned is my GPA
I am a cell biology major (5 year degree)
GPA= 3.23 and sGPA= 3.25
I really screwed up during my first 2 years of university (2.75 GPA)- relationship problems
I have 3.6 GPA during my last three years
I have taken many upper level biology courses, such as microbiology, anatomy, etc.
I just don't know how much Adcoms will overlook my bad years 🙁

My ECs.
150 hrs shadowing dentist
2 months Peru medical/ dental volunteering
400+ hrs of community services+ clubs
300+ of sports

My Dat
22AA/22TS/21PA, nothing below 20

I already submitted my application
Applied to: UoP, Pittsburg, Columbia, USC, NYU, Tufts, BU, Michigan, Case, Howard, Detriot Mercy, and Temple

You have good DAT scores and I think you'll have a pretty good shot at NYU, Tufts, and especially Howard (I'm assuming you're a minority). Check out predents.com, there are a ton of students who get accepted to NYU with similar GPA and DAT scores. I'm not sure about UoP, I know they weigh the DAT much more than GPA. Good job on your DAT, your score saved you.

I really want to go to USC, (well, UOP would be better, but i think I really have no chance there)

do they really ask for amt of hours of commu service/sports played?

your stats overall look better than avg, so isnt that fortunate?

and u would get minority brownie pts to be lucky
