Around a 2.0 overall and science gpa. A 32 on the mcat. No podiatry experience, but I am willing to shadow as much as I need to in order to get into a good job. What are my chances of getting into any podiatry school?

unfortunately you are about 5 years too late, podiatry is a bit more challenging to get into now, since it is a field where in school you have to be able to master MD coursework plus extra foot classes.
With good letters and shadowing, someone might overlook your GPA, but since it is a science heavy curriculum, some might question if you can handle the course load or not.

2.0 GPA and 32 MCAT? 😱

Kinda hard to believe...

not good with a 2.0, your situation is similar to someone with a 3.8 gpa and a mcat score of 14.

Unfortunately I don't think you have much of a chance with a 2.0

U never know till u apply. Maybe one person might find u interesting enough to invite u for an interview. Just get some great letters of rec. and u may have a slim chance.

Good luck

Why is your gpa so low? Did you just not try? Did something terrible happen? Either way a 2.0 gpa likely says to any admissions committee that you will be unable to make it. Do you think you could pull decent grades taking 20+ credits of science all in one semester?

I would recommend going back and taking more classes or a masters somewhere. Your chances of getting in with a 2.0 are slim to none.

Take a post bacc or do a 1 or 2 year masters of science. After that, you are golden. Remember, mcat scores are good for 2-3 yrs. Another option fou you are caribbean medical schools after a post bacc/MS program. Your future looks bright, but your present appears to be dim right now.

you will not get in with a 2.0. if a school did let you in, it would just be to collect a semester's worth of tuition from you.

I have a 3.0 gpa overall & sciences. What mcat score should I aim for to be accepted at NYCPM? I know on their website the avg is around 3.3 gpa and a 23 mcats but in my case I'll need around a 25? Thanks!
