Alright. My name is Kris. I am an Illinois resident and junior in high school. Getting into a BA/BS/MD program is my dream and I just want to know where I stand.

I will graduate as salutatorian of my class and hold a ~4.68 GPA.
I scored a 34 on the ACT, no SAT.
I will take SAT subject tests in Chemistry, Physics, and Math II, expecting to do quite well.
I am PSAT commended.
AP classes are as follows (confident in getting 5's for most)
Biology
Chemistry
Physics B
Calculus BC
Statistics
English Language
English Literature
Spanish Language
Psychology
Economics (both)
U.S. History
Government

Extracurriculars
Tennis
Math Team
Academic Team
NHS
Student Council
Key Club
Spanish Club

Also,
60 hours of shadowing internal medicine physician
150 hours volunteering at hospital
hopefully a program at a hospital

Alright so that's me. I have two questions.
1) where do you think I have a chance?
2) what can I do to improve my application?

Thanks in advance.

Not ready for prime time...👎

Is this a troll post? When u said you scored 34 I thought it was your mcat score. It is sad that post like this attract so many response while people who really need help get like 4 at the most.

Go to Northwestern, U of C, or Illinois for undergrad, do well, take the MCAT your junior year, apply your senior year. I also hope your realize that your weighted GPA doesn't mean anything except for figuring out your class rank at your high school, so it's best to report it as unweighted.

Thanks nheit. I did not mean to come off as a jerk. I just wanted useful feedback.

How the hell are you taking thirteen APs in one year? If you're taking some in your senior year, it doesn't matter what scores you get, as the scores comes out a month before you start your freshman year and are not included on your application. Saying you will probably get a 5 on 13 exams is not only cocky, but also foolish... The same with SAT IIs. Weighted GPAs mean nothing, like said below. Unweighted (out of 100 or 4.0) is much more useful.

Since internetz is srs business I say apply to Northwestern HPME, Brown PLME and USC Bac/MD.

To be honest, most of the people vying for the same seats as you have some research experience in a university setting. That's a very critical part of a BS/MD application that you are missing.
