D.O. School Chances: 23 MCAT (8PS, 8VR, 7BS), 3.48 GPA and 3.43 Science. What are my chances at D.O. schools this cycle? I live in Florida and I hope I can go to LECOM or NOVA.

I have pretty similar stats and was rejected pretty quickly by lecom-b. Still waiting on Nova, where I have been complete since 7/12.

raise that MCAT...i dont think either school gives preference to florida residency as they aren't state funded. your GPA isn't bad but u have got to raise that MCAT

Several years of full time health care work experience

I was the only person at my NSU interview out of about 20 that was from FL.

Contrarily, everyone but one was from FL at my lecom interview.

Lecom seems to have that 25+ mcat treshold to invite people for interview...For nova, i think 26+ is what they are looking for. Retake the mcat...
