I'm a junior at John Carroll University. I'm pursuing a double major- bio and psych (premed). I LOVE biology and everything related to the medical field and I have wanted to be a doctor for as long as I can remember. In my biology and psychology classes, I get straight A's with little studying required and I rarely don't get the highest grade in the class on exams in those classes. I volunteer at Medwish. I volunteer every summer at a free clinic in a refugee camp in the Palestinian territories. I volunteer at homeless shelters, hospitals around my area, etc. I'll be doing research with a professor next semester. I'll be shadowing my neighbor who is an anesthesiologist soon. But I have two problems: chemistry and physics. :/ I got a C in general chemistry 1 and a B+ in gen chem 2. I got a C in ochem 1 and I'm about to take ochem 2 next semester. I'm in physics now and I'm expecting a C :/ I just think those are the most boring classes that have ever existed. I actually need to study for them but have no desire to because I die of boredom within seconds. Even when I study, I can't seem to do well 🙁 I know I'm not dumb but these classes make me feel like I am. I don't know what to do. My cousin is in med school and he says its all biology/biochem which I KNOW I can handle. I'm afraid I won't get into med school because of these 2 subjects 🙁
