Hi guys, I made some phone calls to several schools today and I'm a bit nervous now...
I just found out that I have yet to take the English requirement (I sucked at English and my current ones are pass/fail status and I called the schools today, they say they won't accept credit only options. My best option is to take 6 extra English credits during fall as a non-degree student).

Stat wise, I think I'm ok (sGPA: 3.713, oGPA: 3.743, TS 24, AA 23, PAT 19) but I am a non-traditional applicant and have just finished my undergrad in 5 years 🙂mad:yea I messed up 4th year so have to make it up in an extra year). Is that going to be frowned upon? And previously my goal was med school so I did 2 summer researches, 1 paper as 4th author and around 2 years volunteer in medical imaging and G.I. oncology (not really related to dental😱). So right now I understand I still need to do shadowing at a dental office (hopefully soon).

My questions are: Is it possible to receive interviews while I am taking English in the fall? And in this current situation could I still be accepted early or do I have to wait until I finished my English and got my grades updated?

Any comments are appreciated!

I would say apply, they will require you to complete your English prereqs, but only before matriculation. You can def get interviews if you apply early.

Good luck

Yeah, for sure. Apply and take the courses later. Your stats are above average for most school which will pull you many interviews.
