Hello guys/girls, I'm an international student at the University of Utah, currently at my 3rd year.
NOT A TROLL! I'm 100% serious.

Here's my stats and other stuff:
- On a full scholarship ride until I finish my residency and fellowship.
- More than 60 hours of shadowing (pediatrics, hematologist, pathologist)
- Member in the UNICEF for 2 years.
- lots of patient exposure.
- + 3.90 GPA
- 38 MCAT
- 1 year of research.. no publications...
- lots of EC's in-campus (since I don't have a green card)
- TA and tutor for Arabic classes
- Volunteered in my country during disasters aswell in Utah.
- Been in the dean's list many times (duh 😛)
- Vice president of the Saudi club at my university.

just wondering if I should apply to med state schools...

It means, my government granted me a full scholarship (tuition + living expenses) until I get residency or fellowship.

Focus on schools with a history of accepting international students and you should be fine. The real challenge is finding residencies that will accomodate your visa type since residency is classified as work, not school.

Thanks. Yeah I'm aiming for private schools... but I'm too lazy to leave my undergraduate state...

The MSAR (Medical School Admission Requirements) book or individual school websites will tell you which schools accept internationals. Some of them are state schools. Last time I looked, UUtah wasn't among them, but policies can change.
