So I just received my first letter of acceptance for dental school, so my recruiter just mailed my packet to be reviewed by the next board meeting (I think he said April 26). What are the chances of there being a spot left?

Not good. You will likely be placed on the waiting list and have a shot at a 3 yr scholarship. Depending on where you fall on the waiting list (done by ranking not first come first serve), you may have an outside shot at a 4 yr scholarship if enough people decline.
