Looking to relocate eventually, and am curious what are the best ways to research which Clinical PHD program would be a good fit. Is there a comprehensive list of apa accredited programs to look at? Also would it be a good idea to reach out to a research faculty member of the program whos research I am interested in before applying to the program itself?

Hi, here's two resources:
Both are paid. Sometimes there's free resources online if you already have something specific in mind, but these are a sure way to be comprehensive. Also, narrowing the search bar on this forum is a great resource.
Best of luck!

You could also just use the free version of the APA accredited programs directory and then go to each program of interest.

Another way is to look at articles published within the last few years in your areas of interest and then look up those authors. From there, you can see which universities they are affiliated with, and if those programs have an APA accredited program and look at the program as a whole, as well as other faculty who may be a good fit.

Yeah, but there is substantially more information in Insider's Guide than what is available on program websites.

Agreed, I was more so highlighting that there is in fact a free directory as opposed to the paid one on APA’s website.
