Caucasian Male from New York State.
cGPA: 3.75 sGPA: 3.72
MCAT: 515 129/127/129/130
ECs:
-480 hour internship at pulmonary functions lab with direct patient contact/testing
-many hours comm. service in my fraternity

I know my EC's aren't phenomenal. But do you think I have a good shot? What schools should I apply to outside of NY state? Trying to compile a solid list right now.

I suggest these schools with your stats:
All 4 SUNY's
Albany
New York Medical College
Hofstra
Einstein
Vermont
Quinnipiac
Tufts
Seton Hall
Drexel
Temple
Jefferson
Penn State
George Washington
Eastern Virginia
NOVA MD
Oakland Beaumont
Western Michigan
Medical College Wisconsin
Rosalind Franklin

Thank you for the help. do you think Ishould go for anything out West? Nevada or Arizona? I wanna be somewhere warm so badly. I also have lots of family in California if that helps with anything.

Unfortunately most of the western state schools are public schools that strongly favor their own residents. You could try Loma Linda, California University (new school) and Kaiser when it opens.

I should be grateful to have the instate advantage in NY, and I am. But doing 4 years in Buffalo definitely made me appreciate the sunny states a bit more. Thank you!
