Obviously there is Sabiston's and other texts like that for underlying principles. There are a million good resources for anatomy. I can do Anki or SCORE to help with ABSITE stuff. However, I really don't know where to go to learn how to manage stuff like wounds, DVT prophylaxis, trach/PEG management, pain, fluids, nutrition, T/L/D, delirium, etc... Anything good, or is it all just learn on the job?

Some of that there are some formal guidelines from various societies you can find, ie delirium, DVT ppx, etc. A lot of it is learn on the job from seniors and mid level coresidents, and then you’ll kinda figure out which studies and stuff it all comes from as you go and then you’ll read those

Fluids, nutrition, and things like that are very tedious reading in Sabiston or Schwartz but highly valuable
